HIGH FREQUENCY CONFIGURATIONS

The audiogram below represents an individual with normal hearing through 2000 Hz sloping to a high frequency hearing loss.  Unless this individual has a very high demand on his or her hearing abilities and is extremely motivated, he or she will probably not benefit from a hearing aid.  This hearing loss will cause some difficulty in noisey situations but not in a quiet environment.
