HIGH FREQUENCY CONFIGURATIONS

The audiogram below represents an individual with normal hearing through 1000 Hz sloping to a high freguency hearing loss.  This individual would experience dificulty hearing in noise and in some difficulty in quiet situations.  The candidacy for hearing aids increases significantly when there is a hearing loss at 2000 Hz.  This individual is a good candidate for amplification.
